BHASWATI BOSE confuses everyone on the laptop

The question mark over the latest Pehchaan Kaun girl (ref: post of March 2) just got bigger. With less than 24 hours remaining for the declaration of results, the web of suspicion has expanded to include Bhaswati Bose, Razia Khan, Nafisa Sayyad, Kajal Babani… and nobody is getting any wiser.
Nahid Khan is of course, the prime suspect with as many as nine out of the 20-odd entries received so far pointing towards her. In what would appear as a well-timed move, she has decamped to Lucknow, thereby deepening the suspicion about her complicity.

Suspect No 1: NAHID KHAN

Had she been around, chances are she would have been subjected to third degree till she agreed to being the mystery girl.
Fact is, serious doubts are being raised about Razia Khan also – but somehow, at the time of recording their entry, people are changing their minds. Adding to the confusion, Razia and her closest pal Nafisa Sayyad have separately named Nahid. Still, Nafisa was cornered midway through the exercises today and grilled ruthlessly by a group of over-zealous ladies till Mumtaz Jahan raised an alarm wondering where Nafisa (who was standing beside her) had disappeared!

Papneja treats Suspect 3: RAZIA KHAN

Sadly, the men cannot get as personal with the ladies and have been relying on their gut feeling and second-hand information. Jagmohan Papneja provided a welcome diversion from the random guess work by suddenly declaring Bhaswati Bose as a ‘100 per cent candidate’. Instantly, the cattle mentality kicked in and five people put their bets on Bhaswati. Till then, she was merrily adding to the confusion by zooming-in and zooming-out of the photo in question on her laptop screen. Like all others, she neither confirmed nor denied anything. But the impression everyone got was that she could well be the dark horse.
Papneja provided another welcome relief by treating us all to cookies from a reputed confectioner in Delhi. He has just returned from there and true to style and custom, he did not disappoint us (see yesterday’s post). Surely, he must be one of the most generous souls in Mumbai and we can only wish and hope that he keeps going to Delhi and gets us those delicious cookies again and again.
Post Script: Please check the complete list of entries received so far on Pehchaan Kaun-9 against the post of March 2, 2014. Any revision will be entertained up to 8:00 pm today. Results will be declared tomorrow morning.
