Little Master

The kid flexes his muscles with the nanas and nanis
A little boy, rudely woken from his sleep and brought to the Garden by his domineering father was ‘adopted’ by the Club today. Normally people join the exercise circle and seek membership later. But seeing this boy crying, refusing to join his father on a sprint around the lawn, Razia Khan invited him to be with us. He readily agreed.
While his father huffed and puffed around the lawn, this tiny tot merrily continued to exercise and in fact, showed us a thing or two during the critical 'Nachh Baliye' and ‘Kissa Kursi Ka’ numbers. Although this was his first time, we could not help admiring him for the way he executed each drill to perfection. “He is my pota,” Mallika Kagzi declared with proprietorial pride.
“No, he is the Club’s pota,” the other ladies countered instantly. “He is our grandson!”
Oblivious to all the attention he was cornering, the boy continued, not uttering a word. At one point, his father stopped to click a few pictures on his mobile phone. “He must be made a member immediately!” announced Razia.
That was our undoing. The boy lost interest and walked away.

The small boy exercising with us in rhythm was of great excitement to all of us and of course, an inspiration to his father. Truly, a child is the father of man.

I am impressed by both the 'body builders' posing at the Garden -- the club's grandson behind and the ring master Nahid-bhai. They are both looking cute!
