Exercises Over: Today's bravehearts are led out of the Garden by Shekhawat |
After the thunder and lightning last night, many had chosen to stay indoors today. We were no more than four when we wrapped up with Kiran Prakash helming the exercises. Arun Patil did not come out of fear of getting his prosthetic limb soaked in rain water.
Kajal Babani |
Bihari Milwani declared that we raise four laughs at the end of the exercises to honor the 'fabulous four' who had braved the inclement weather, pot-holed roads and streams of slush to be present in the Garden on time. “One laugh for each person,” he recommended.
Meanwhile news comes in of Kajal Babani being hospitalized due to complications arising out of high blood sugar. It seems her condition had deteriorated so badly last Tuesday that on the advice of her family doctor, she had to be rushed to a private nursing home.
We are happy to inform that Kajal has been responding well to treatment and according to husband Dilip, is likely to be discharged today. On behalf of all members, the blog wishes her a speedy recovery and return to the pink of health.
Lt Col Angad Singh (retd):
It is disheartening to note how a young person like Kajal are suffering from high blood sugar. This is the curse of modern living. Health is primary and we should not neglect it. Do regular exercises and keep laughing. It is still the best medicine.
