How Time Flies

Who could it be? The guessing game continues...
The deadline for submission of entries for the Pehchaan Kaun-14 contest (ref post of April 2) has just got over at midnight. Without our realizing, ten days have passed since the announcement of this guessing game and only seven of our members have put in their entries so far. The rest have only been beating about the bush, taking random potshots at one another and are not even decided on whether the photograph belongs to a male or female. As such, there was no option but to take a collective decision yesterday to extend the deadline by a week, i.e. up to April 19.
It hasn’t helped. Yusuf Rassiwala, Santosh Tyagi, Nahid Khan and a few others who were supposed to submit their entries today have not done so. Quite clearly, they would prefer to wait and watch like the rest. Well, if it would be of any help, we may reveal that the names thrown up from the seven entries received so far are almost as varied
Unable to bear the heat, Bijoy Gupta
withdrew midway through the exercises

as the colors of the rainbow. They range from Karun Sharma and Kiran Prakash to Yusuf R, Pushpa Gupta and Siba Prasad Maitra. If these are not enough,
Later, he was to treat everyone to chilled lassi
some more names were tossed up in the Garden today with nobody turning any wiser.
Without confirming (or refuting) any of those names we would only like to say that no matter what you think, right or wrong, please put it in writing and submit your entry. Nobody will be hanged for getting it wrong. You can always keep revising your opinion subsequently (till April 19) and the last revision would eventually hold good. But do write in. Even slips of paper will do. We do not want a situation to arise that would force the scrapping of Pehchaan Kaun-14 due to insufficient entries. In a Club of nearly 40 members, it would only be fair to expect at least 15 entries to keep a contest alive. If anybody has a better idea, do write in.
Bhaswati Bose:
The dog has gone to inquire whether Gupta knows the identity of Pehchaan Kaun-14.
Lt Col Angad Singh (from Bangalore):
Time and tide wait for no one. It is essential that the competition continues. It will be too bad if none of the members are able to give the correct answer. In that case it would only prove that our members do not scratch their brains adequately and even tai chi is not of any help.
