Piquant Situation

Shooting the breeze as usual, after the exercises today
Amid the fun and frolic every morning at the Garden, we are fast moving to a situation when certain members would have to turn up not to exercise, but only to be photographed. Or else, they would stand to lose their birthday photo calendars!
The absurdity of it all stems from the renewed popularity of these personalised calendars following their revival after a year. Till these were suspended, it did not matter who came to the Garden and when. As the calendar highlights their involvement in the Club’s day-to-day activities over a period of 12 months, nobody would really like to be left out.
Still, Shekhawat had to bring this up today morning when the names of certain members known to habitually play hooky were mentioned. They include Fahmida Khan, Rakhee Bansi, Pushpa Gupta, Mumtaz Jahan, Vandana Kankanwar and a few others.
Significantly, many of their birthdays are round the corner. And it would be hard to explain to them that at least 12 of their pictures are required to cover the 12 months/ pages of a calendar. Upon being denied the calendar the feeling of being discriminated against is bound to arise.
One member who understands this problem came up with a funny solution. She offered to show up one morning with 12 dress changes. It would be a proper photo shoot in the Garden, rather than even a pretense of exercising. The dress changes would create the impression of attendance on different days right round the year.
What a brilliant idea, Madam-ji!

Madam! Please make sure that after changing the 12 dresses and getting the photo shoot you come on your birthday with sweets. Otherwise you will not get your photo calendar.
