Celebrating Rains

It continues to rain in fits and starts. But having got a reprieve for that crucial one hour in the morning, we managed to complete the exercises, without interruption, out in the open. Only thereafter did it begin to rain. And the umbrellas came out.
Being the weekend, everyone wanted to make the most of their time together. The weather was unusually pleasant with a cool, gentle breeze wafting across right across. Bose unwittingly became the scapegoat in the middle for the exercises, his freshly grown goatee prompting the ladies to christen him ‘Abdullah’. Nafisa Sayyad was unsparing as usual towards Hari Naraiyani (left pic), ribbing him constantly for appearing blissfully distracted and not taking the exercises seriously. Not that it mattered to him because, as everyone knows, he is a law unto himself.
Meanwhile, plans are afoot for a movie outing next week. The latest Saif Ali Khan-starrer, Cocktail is being highly spoken about, more so after Kishor Babani watched it yesterday. So far only the ladies seem interested – the exception being Hari Naraiyani. He wants to be the sole male member from the Club to join them at Cinemax, next Tuesday. Watch this space.
