Who This Boy?

This little Peter Pan of a boy (alongside) has got us all in a tizzy. It is now more than a week since he showed up (see post of July 22) for Pehchan Kaun, the popular guessing game of the Club, conducted every three months. There is little doubt that he is one of us. But so successfully has he been able to evade identification that most of us, including past winners, have all given up on him. Even Geeta Sardhana, who never gets it wrong, has reserved her opinion.
Since the contest cannot be kept in abeyance indefinitely, Kishor Babani was requested to bring his tablet to the Garden so that those who do not have regular access to a PC at home could form their opinion and take part verbally. Predictably, this was seen as a red herring (‘What is Kishor’s interest bringing the tablet?’) ploy and the needle of suspicion swung en-masse on him, till Shekhawat, holding the tablet aloft (in pic), came up with the revelation of the century: “This has to be Bose!”
Promptly Grover, who was himself the 'prime suspect' till yesterday, shifted allegiance from Shekhawat to Bose. And Arun Patil, smelling a big rat, quickly switched from Kishor to Shekhawat. Some fence-sitters like Bapu Rane, Nahid Khan and Pratap Bhatt (who wanted to play safe) became all the more confused and arbitrarily pitched for Grover, Bose or Kishor -- though many drew comfort from the belief that it was not one person’s face on the boy but Grover’s hair, Bose’s ears, Kishor’s lips, Harish’s eyes, Arora’s nose, Shekhawat’s forehead… Lest they be even more confused, we are providing a little ‘leg show’ of the boy -- not seen in the original photograph.
Kiran Sajjan however, had the last word when she argued aloud that it was not a boy, but a girl we were seeing in the photograph. “This must be Santosh-ji,” she declared in all seriousness and walked away!

What is the use of this "leg show"? We have seen the legs of only Shekhawat-ji, Arora-ji and Mr Bose. Request rest of the male members to come to the Garden in half-pants tomorrow. Pehchanne mein aasaan hoga!

Shame on you Bhaswati Bose, you cannot identify your husband when he was a kid! Moreover, I agree with Renu-ji. It might be helpful for others, but you are definitely not attentive enough to look at everyone's legs while laughing!!!
