Day 368

Another rain-soaked morning. The beginning of a new week. The first of a new month… And the beginning of a new life for young Jatin Jajodia. He has just been engaged and to celebrate the occasion, his mother, Sunita Jajodia distributed sweets to all present at the Garden this morning. We join mother and son, and the entire Jajodia clan in their happiness and wish the soon-to-be married couple good luck and the very best in life.
The other good news of the day was that Santosh Tyagi has resumed after a brief spell of illness and was back to narrating jokes with aplomb, in her inimitable style. Sharing time with Kishor Babani soon after the exercises, the session was much like old times, but for the weather which had turned the atmosphere in the Chinese Hut, terribly dark and depressing. The duo’s jokes and Sunita-ji’s sweets saved the day.
Says RENU BABANI:
Congratulations to Sunita-ji and the entire family on her son's engagement. I am sure the celebrations at her place must be in full force. Our best wishes are always with them. Glad to know that Mrs Santosh is back on a regular basis and we did miss her jokes. My flu is still keeping me away from the Garden, but thanks to everyone who wished me a speedy recovery. Still on antibiotics, so perhaps a few more days. Strange, when the rains were at bay, everyone complained of the unbearable humidity and heat. Now that the monsoons have resulted in pleasant weather, we still complain. Let's all take a positive stand and be thankful for the weather, because we are truly blessed and lucky!
Says HARISH WADHWA:
The sweets were very nice. Congratulations Sunita-ji, for your son's engagement. By the way, when is the wedding? We don't want to miss the occasion.
