Emotional Breakdown

Sandhya Narang (in pic) looked suitably shocked when Hari Singh Shekhawat announced her birthday and appealed to everyone to raise an extra laugh for her. Moments later, as we joined in chorus, singing ‘Happy Birthday to You’, it was her turn to shock us. She suddenly broke into tears.
Before long she was weeping uncontrollably – in spite of her friends crowding around to comfort her. Khatoon Baig could be heard yelling, “Control, Control!” It was an emotionally surcharged situation nobody was prepared for, let alone comprehend. Watching her, the men too had a hard time fighting back their tears and somehow, with choked voices, managed to complete the round of counting and clapping.
Only later, after the prayers, could Sandhya compose herself and amidst much hugging and display of affection from the ladies, she got a smile back on her face. All this while, the men stood stupidly at a respectable distance, awaiting their turn for the chocolates she was to distribute. Thereafter, everyone was back to normal, laughing and joking.
Whatever be the cause of her emotional breakdown, we can only hope and pray for Sandhya that unpleasant memories do not haunt her and that she is able to look forward to a happy future with renewed strength and vigour. We wish her everlasting joy, good health and complete peace of mind and contentment.
Harish Wadhwa:
* A very Happy Birthday and lots of happiness to Sandhya-ji. The irrestible chocolate was quickly gone on the way to office!
* People who are emotional often have a very kind heart. Sandhya-ji’s nature is an example of this intrinsic goodness.

People who are emotional often have a very good heart & kindness in them. Sandhya-ji’s nature is an exemplary example of this simplicity.
