Much Hairsplitting

Today proved to be another normal day and the turnout by the end was pretty good. As everyone was about to leave Shekhawat (left) stated that he had an announcement to make. Arun Patil (below right) said the reason for Arora not attending the exercises these days was that people do not follow proper rules and basically, there is no discipline in the Club.
To this, Kishor Babani (below left) asked: “At our age, who will follow rules? What's the harm if we talk a bit and have some fun? During those 45 minutes, as long as the routine is being followed, then why not enjoy it as well?”
Another member stated that others in the Garden watch us exercise and it gives a bad impression. Kishor's instant reply was: “We are here for our own personal health, not to impress others.”
At this point Arora arrived and there was complete silence.
Kishor insisted we continue the discussion so that he is aware of what we are talking about. The discussion was thus continued, whereon it was pointed out that during the exercises, if anyone talks, Arora has been stopping them; but when Arora talks and laughs, no one stops him. So why should he tell the rest?
The ladies too were in agreement: that those 45 minutes are when they can have fun and enjoy themselves before getting back to the mundane routine at home in silence. The discussion ended with everyone parting ways and the Badmash Company heading for tea. Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow.
