KANTA SHARMA (15.6.1944 - 1.6.2017) |
LEST WE FORGET: Those were the days... |
HUMBLE TRIBUTE TO A DEAR DEPARTED
It is still difficult to believe that Kanta Sharma in no more. This picture reminds me of the joyful moments we shared in Rajasthan barely three months back. For me, she was not only a member of the Club but also mother of my close friend, Aryan. I shall always miss her. May her soul rest in peace. --Kiran Prakash
I was also in that boat. This was in Jaisalmer Lake and it was late evening. Many of us were already tired and did not want to go for a boat ride. But Kanta Sharma was so enthusiastic and excited that I too jumped onto the boat with her. She used to be very energetic on our outstation trips! --Bhaswati Bose
My wife, Niloo and I were also in the same boat. Kanta Sharma has left for her heavenly abode, but one can't forget such happy moments shared with her. May her soul rest in peace. --Yusuf Rassiwala
It is wonderful to find wonderful people like Mrs Kanta in our group. I did not get to know her well, though I wish I could. Even then Kanta-ji, I shall miss you. May your soul rest in peace and happiness. --Karun Sharma
